Dr Sketchy’s Mega Catch-up (Part 3)

And hot on the heels of Part 2, here’s Part 3 (you can still catch up with Part 1 though). This update should bring us bang up to date, ahead of Saturday’s event (of which, more below), and covers the period from July to November 2014. Here’s my pick of my favourites from Tikitastic!, Death Becomes You, Drawn of the Dead and Deco Darlings.

Dr Sketchy’s Birmingham returns once more to the Victoria this Saturday (at the slightly earlier starting time of 2:30) for a subject that regular readers of this blog will know is a subject close to my heart, Steampunk!

19 July 2014 – Tikitastic!

Grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts were in abundance when Dr Sketchy’s brought a touch of the South Pacific to Birmingham.

27 July 2014 – Special Event – Death Becomes You…

A special event to tie in with the nearby Electric Cinema‘s Shock and Gore festival of horror films, the Victoria hosted a special ‘Death Café‘ prior to a special Sketchy’s themed on Harold and Maude, one of the films featuring in the festival.

27 September 2014 – Drawn of the Dead

With Hallowe’en (nearly) upon us, swiftly followed by the Mexican Día de Muertos, Dr Sketchy’s put on a show that would wake the dead…

29 November 2014 – Deco Darlings

And bringing us right back up to date, Dr Sketchy’s takes us back to the the 1920s with an event filled with Art Deco designs and dames.

You too can go back in time to Part 1 or Part 2! Looking forward to seeing you at the next one!
