Sorry Bob! For what it's worth, I did a similar search when I drew this and came up empty... I'm still surprised that no-one else has thought of it.

I just had an idea to draw this, but I looked it up on Google and someone had beaten me. Curse your originality!

Yes Alex, the free shipping applies to orders from the UK (I'm in the UK myself) I just completed their customer satisfaction survey and got another code for $100 off a $200+ order with free standard shipping, so will be doing another order with them soon. I found out about them via BoardGameGeek - they have a few photos that might help: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/670466/anyone-bought-cards-from-printerstudio-com

Hope they work out as well as mine!

Thanks for that - I'll look into it. Does the free shipping apply to orders from the UK as well?

I've recently had some good cards done by PrinterStudio.com - whilst they're based overseas, they're prices are pretty good and they often do special offer codes to get free shipping and discounts. Mine were large size (3.5x5.75") but they also do standard poker size and quality is very good. They do 54 card decks with box for $7.99+shipping for a single deck. Use code JOY at checkout for free shipping.

Good luck with your cards!

This is an interesting project. There's no better way to spend the week than involve yourself in doing something creative.

That bothers me too... the only ways around the Christmas/year end issue I can think of is to either (i) start the blog/idea towards the end of the year (say, October), so it's all finished well before Christmas or (ii) guess who's going to be in the news for the last month or two of the year and draw them in advance... neither of which really appeals.
